ScarLine RX Breast Silicone Scar Therapy

The Contour is the first in a family of products currently being designed for women undergoing breast surgery, from simpler breast biopsy incisions to more complex mastectomy and reconstructive wounds.

 

Washing daily by hand with ScarLine Rx Silicone Cleanser(Included)  and water is recommended for the entire ScarLine Rx silicone product line. If properly cared for using this gentle, oil cutting cleanser, your ScarLine Rx silicone will last for months. The Silicone Cleanser is specially formulated to rinse off easily, leaving no residue on the silicone. The ingredients are also safe for the environment, no animal testing and completely biodegradable.

 

How to Use

Do not use within 7 days of surgery. The wound must be completely healed with no visible signs of drainage or infection. Do not use on a wound that has a liquid skin adhesive on it, such as Dermabond®.

Most effective if worn twelve hours per day, for at least twelve consecutive weeks. If you have any concerns, please seek the advice of your physician. Results will vary per patient.

Applying the Contour

• Flip your ScarLine Rx Contour tacky side bowed out toward the skin.
• With a finger in the center, gently press the nipple and then smooth the edges down over the skin.
• Your ScarLine Rx will stay in place alone without the use of taping. It is removed as comfortably as it went on.
  When not being worn, store on the plastic dome.

ScarLine Rx™ Silicone Care Instructions

• Renew the tacky lining by washing prior to each use.
• Wet the ScarLine Rx silicone with very warm water.
• Apply 1-2 pumps of cleanser to the tacky side and rub with fingers to lather.
• Rinse well with very warm water.
• Air Dry Only. Do not use a towel to dry.
